Vaping and the use of e-cigarettes has become more pervasive nationwide. As new studies emerge on the dangers of e-cigarettes, claims for injuries and deaths related to the use of personal vaporizer products have also grown.

Sponsored by the Cooperative of American Physicians, The LA County Medical Association and the LACBA Health Law Section have collaborated to foster a webinar discussing how medical advocacy and legal actions can converge to tackle a public health crisis.

The Panel will feature:

  • Dr. Tony Kuo, medical expert on e-cigarette and vaping surveillance
  • Paul Kiesel, a former LACBA president, who is at the forefront of vape litigation
  • Dr. Robert Bitonte, the past president of LACMA and member of the LACBA Health Law Section Executive Committee, who leads medico-legal advocacy on various issues.
